hey... first devlog!
hello! welcome to the very first actual devlog where I speak about some stuff that I thought I'd share.
before I delve deep into anything, I have enabled comments for this and for upcoming devlogs, I purposefully disabled the last one because it was just so embarrassing with how I uploaded a non-working build so I had to say something about that. more on that topic though, the primary reason for why it didn't work as intended (for those who did try it) was due to some logic error, in other words I was dumb.
I would also like to mention something: this is my very first complete and effort-put-into game, while I wont use this as an excuse to unintentional bugs and scenarios, I just want to let you know. I'm still testing the grounds and I'm still debating if this is the right medium for me despite working on this for 2+ years.

anyways. I thought this devlog would be good to really give some brief descriptions about the project as well as its background. this project is obviously a project based of Yume Nikki, if you're not already familiar with that game, you might as well go try it out first!
this project is kind of a traditional fan-game, I would not say it's all that different from Yume Nikki. in terms of differences, the only thing I could think of is that this game offers omni-directional movement, as in 8-directional walking and running.
the project is super basic, and of course very straightforward; you explore worlds, some which are limitless in boundaries, others that are restricted to certain domains. although not mandatory, your objective is to explore and collect memoriams and effects. while at its core sounds very basic, I would like to add more stuff that people might find intriguing. I haven't still thought of said intriguing stuff, but perhaps through feedback and what-have-you, I might find something to add eventually!
